Bases of Chemistry

Bases of Chemisty

As we know that chemistry is the husband of histrory, learn at night and forget in the morning. If we want to know , what is chemistry ? then we should know only two chapters deeply. if u knew this two chapters it means u have gone through whole chemistry because actually whole chemistry depends on these two chapter
  1. Atomic Structure
 2.Periodic Table

Generally Children fear of and do not heed these chapters and most of the students of 10th, 11th,  and 12th class do not pay attention to these chapters. Actually they try to learn forcely and think they have learn the questions. Infact they have adapted a technique of rattafication that is tempory work. They have not done strong and firm work means they have not understood the chapters. Once they have understood . This one time understanding of the base will work for further classes. due to their rattafication or temporary work they have to learn whenever the eaxamination comes or near at hand.

Problem faced by the students

They feel the following problems.

1. They do not know the atomic no. of elements.
2. They do not know the atomic mass of the elements.
3. They are unable to understand the names of the elements when these r represented in the form of symbols. due to that they r unable to tell the name of the compound like NaCl ,CaF2 etc.
Resultantly they can not complete the reaction . They leave the question of.....complete the following equations or unable to answer the questions like tell the chemical formula of sodium sulphate , POP and Gypsom etc.
4. They can not tell the gp and pd (group and period ) of the element.
5. They can not solve the question find the emperical formula or general formula.
6. The can not give the name of chains or can not write the chain of any given name of compound.
7. They r unable to tell , how r reactions taking place and which compound will be formed when two compounds or elements r reacted.
8. Valancy  of elements is also a problem before them.

In this way alot of problems r in front before them. Mean whole chemistry is not understood by them.

Symbols of Chemical Elements

SYMBOLS OF CHEMICAL ELEMENTS Symbol- Abbreviation of elements in the form of one or two letters is called Symbol, eg. Hydrogen=H, Helium=H                      A diagramatic representation of Atom Note- Atom is the the smallest particle of any Element. Radius of atom is ten the power minus eight cm. ,While Nucleus is the centre of the atom and its radius is 10 the power minus 12 cm. History of  Symbol- In 1803, An English Chemist and Physicist, John Dalton  gave the Symbols first to represent the atoms of the elements, besides this Dalton was considered as the father of modern atomic theory. He told that  molecules and atoms may be represented in Symbolic form in place of writing their names but now a days Dalton's Symbols are not recognised. As we know the era is changed, In the same manner old Symb...

Subatomic Particles

SUB-ATOMIC PARTICLES   Before studying about subatomic particle  we should know in brief  what is  atom?                        Atom-: Atom  is the smallest particle of any element.  In the old time, It is assumed that atom is indivisible  but with the help of new discoveries , this assumption thauut atom is indivisible is failed. Now all know that atom is divisible and it is formed of more small particles called subatomic particles.   Atom is divisible   further ,this can be considered with the study of static electricity and conduction of electricity in the conductor. Events which shows atom is divisible- Flowing of electricity in Conductor. Transfer of heat from one point to another. Attraction or Repulsion b/w charged species.  A...
